Following the state government’s notification (No. 1707-F(P2) dated 16 May 2026), the upper age limit for applicants has been raised to 44 years. This age calculation will be considered as of 01.01.2024. Meanwhile, the standard age relaxation for reserved category candidates remains in effect as per existing government rules.
Extension of Application Date
It’s not just the age limit; the application window has also been extended. Candidates can now submit their online applications until 09.06.2026. This is a great opportunity for those who haven’t managed to complete their registration yet.

This order, signed by the Deputy Secretary of the Commission, was issued on 20.05.2026 from Kolkata.
