Explanation
Khudiram Bose, one of the youngest and most courageous revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement, was hanged on August 11, 1908, in the Muzaffarpur jail. He, along with Prafulla Chaki, threw a bomb at a carriage believed to be carrying Kingsford, the unpopular British magistrate. However, the bomb accidentally killed two British women of the Kennedy family. Following the incident, Prafulla Chaki shot himself, and Khudiram was arrested and sentenced to death at the tender age of 18.
