Answer
Preamble to the Constitution
Explanation
The Preamble to the Constitution of India explicitly secures for all its citizens Justice: social, economic, and political. Social justice denotes the equal treatment of all citizens without any social distinction based on caste, colour, race, religion, sex, or so on. The ideal of justice (social, economic, and political) in our Preamble was inspired by the Russian Revolution of 1917.
Key Points
- > The Preamble secures three types of justice: Social, Economic, and Political.
- > The ideals of these three forms of justice were taken from the Russian Revolution (1917).
- > The concept is also heavily reflected in the Directive Principles of State Policy (e.g., Article 38).
