Ganga Expressway Inauguration
On April 29, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ganga Expressway in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. This 594 km long, 6-lane expressway connects Meerut in the west to Prayagraj in the east. Built at a cost of Rs 36,230 crore, it cuts the travel time between the two cities from 11-12 hours down to just 6 hours.
